Best place to get a normal?

I've never really been an owner before, and have just finished preparing the set-up, so now I'm looking for a ball. There's no way I'm going to a pet-shop, and I'm looking for the best place to get a normal. Any suggestions? TY

Well where are ya from? There's gonna be quite a few reptile shows comin up soon and you can always buy some at the shows. There's also a number of breeders here that can sell you a snake, ya just gotta pay the shipping fees, normally around $50.

As he mentioned reptile at shows you can usually get a hatchling for under $50.00. I have seen them as low as 25.

Yup, shows are a great place to get a snake. I got my first normal for a mere 20$ at a show, and he has been the only snake that has never had any problems!
    Good luck to you!

Just remember that price should not be the main consideration when choosing a pet. I would look for a breeder that has an excellent reputation and someone you feel comfortable talking to. You will probably want to ask some basic questions like the date of birth and what prey items it is being fed.

I would be a bit leary about shows.. unless you research what breeders will be there beforehand, and then research those breeders.. I know that a lot of fly-by-nighters can frequent shows. If you wait til springtime/summertime, chances are there will be many breeder members on this forum that will have some hatchlings for sale..!
