My New Baby Has a Name!

I already posted his photos in my NERD trip thread, but since He's now named and I'm so proud of him, I'm going to post them again here He's cute enough to have his own thread

I decided on a name for him the other night. If any of you are familliar with the movie or book "The Neverending Story", you might appreciate it The snake amulet from the story is called "Auryn", and being the big geek that I am, naming my new baby that appealed to me!

He's still living at NERD right now, but I'll be picking him up soon! And when I do, there will be new pictures...'cause I'm already a proud momma

Awh, cute snake and great name! I have a corn snake named Falkor from the same movie. Classic.

Thanks for the replies It's nice to see I'm not the only one who loves "The Neverending Story"! I was trying to explain the origins of the name to a few people here at home and I was getting blank stares--I couldn't believe there were people who hadn't heard of it!

Neverending Story is a fantastic movie!!! And "Auryn" is certainly a welcome break from "Monty" (no offense to all the Monty Python owners out there...I'm one too)...
