Hopefully Soul Sucker in the making!

Here is picture of hopefully soul suckers in the making. I hope that this Woma female have that special magical ingerdient that Kevin says they need! This Lesser male loves her and she is developing quite nicely. The ultrasound makes it quite nice when you are watching special females like this! Now if I could only get that purple snake with a stripe down its back.

    Thanks

Very nice Brock. Hopefully that special gene turns up in one of those babies. That Woma female looks awesome too. Good luck with the rest of the season.

Thanks everyone I appreciate the kind comments! Tim I really hope that she has the special gene! She is big enough so I should find out this year if she can make them.

Hey Brock! Awesome looking snakes - hope she has that "hidden" gene! Can you tell us about how you use your ultrasound? Some pics of the machine would also be nice. Thanks

p.s. Any more butters coming along this year?

Re: Hopefully Soul Sucker in the making!

Thanks for the kind words everyone trust me I am very stoked about the outcome on this breeding. Probably the most important breeding that I am doing this year! Alice this is the second year that I have used the ultrasound. It is kind of complicated if you have never used one before. You put the females in a tub of water and then obviously run it down their lower halfs and you watch on the moniter and you can see the developing follicles. I am no expert at it and I am still learning. It is amazing as you can see that females appear to have follicles on both sides of their bodies. When they get over 17mm you should have the male in with them. They ovulate around 35mm to 42mm. It is great tool when you are watching important females like this one. The problem is that they are expensive mine was $7500. Oh and yes the Butter is breeding everything in sight so I will have plenty this year along with some Butter crosses.

    Thanks
