Because it is a pig.
As soon as you go near the tank, they swarm to the glass looking for food (except the coral gourami which ALWAYS hides when I go near the tank ).

Nice community tank you have going there! I myself just set one up after years of keeping just goldfish.. it is so awesome to be able to add such a variety of color and types with tropicals. It's like each fish takes on its little personality all its own (or maybe I have just been out in the snow for too long, lol.) Kissing gouramis are a trip too.. nice setups!
