    Tang Rat

Woke up this morning and drove out to the closest Petsmart that carries horse products.

I picked up a thing of Povidone Iodine scrub and Fung-A-Away with aids control in Summer itch, girth itch, and RINGWORM!

Got home and cleaned out CC's (Close Call) tank (bleached and scrubbed it) gave her new bedding. Then it was time for her bath. She was very happy to get picked up and have my attention since I've not held or really touched her since last Friday. Filled up the sink and put her in. She was very chill for being in water for the first time. I've had past rats go nuts when they touched water. She was great. I sprayed her with some Fung-A-Way and scrubbed her. Rinsed her off then put some Iodine on her and scrubbed her down with that. Rinsed her off and repeated the Fung-A-Way and Iodine again.

    She was a little trooper!

Here are some pictures of a sweet tang colored rat!

    I made her a gallery: http://primevalbeauty.com/gallery/main.php?g2_itemId=4378
I put all her baby pictures and such up there.

Yeah Amy they sure can let you know that they don't like it. LOL this girl didn't let out a sound though out the whole 20 minutes of messing with her. It probably felt good to get rid of the itches right then and there.

    Re: Tang Rat

Well isn't she cute! I bathe every rat that comes into our house before it can go near my rat room. Helps to get rid of any hitchhiking nasties as well as get rid of the pet store stink. Some hate it, others tolerate it and some actually seem to like a nice warm bath. They all love the rough towelling off though afterwards.....rat fun! Silly things think I'm wanting to wrestle them with that old pink towel rather than just dry off the drippy critters.

For some reason "drowned rat" comes to mind when looking at the pics .I am glad she was easy going as she might know you are trying to help her .
