    Feeding

Ok, I have been feeding my bp cyclone mice hoppers. Its only leaving a little bump for his belly. So what would be the next size to feed him?

    Thanks for any advice!

Small mice or weanlings. RodentPro has an excellent size reference.

In my experience you should feed a prey slightly smaller then the girth size (widest part of your BP’s body) once a week. Feeding smaller prey allows you to have a BP feeding with consistency. Feeding a prey that is to big will at some point cause your BP to fast to catch up.

Now when it comes to your BP all you need to do is to compare your BP’s girth to the next size up weanling, depending on it’s size your BP might also be ready for an adult mouse hard to tell without seeing the BP in person.
