    Figure Eight puffer tank..

Well, I bought this guy thinking he was a community fish.. he's not.. so I set up a nice tank for him alone. I do want to get 1-2 more of them so he has a friend, but all the stores I went to were sold out..
    Meet Scooter!

His tank. I turned the filter to its lowest setting because the current seemed to be picking him up and moving him around too much.. he is happy now. This is a brackish-water fish. They need about 1.5 tablespoons of salt per gallon, and require a pH of 7.2-7.8. I read that they can be tanked with "freshwater flounder".. maybe something to look into for a tankmate.

Attractive setup Jen. Freshwater flounders are awesome looking fish but can be finicky and hard to feed.

Thanks for the ideas.. it is a little sparse with just him, lol. I will be wary of the flounders..
