sinaloan milk snake? stunning colours and fairly easy to care for. Definately a one per tank deal though.
There was a stunning snake available once called a sunbeam? ( i think) that was small and burrowed most of the time but was the most beautiful irridecent animal I have ever seen.
Or if you decide to go down the big beast route;
If your thinking of commiting to a huge display tank for a large animal and don't mind devoting a bit of time beforehand researching you could go for a green iguana (6 foot of lizard is impressive - but it's also tricky) or one of the larger chameleons (sp?).
Or if you were thinking of sticking with snakes possibly a nice red tail or brazilian rainbow boa?
I recomend just looking at pics of what is available till you find the one that makes you dribble on your keyboard.![]()
Then start reading up on how to keep it alive. I always had a hankering for flying dragons myself but they are still way too advanced for me right now.
