    Morphs

I was wondering if any of you had the same mindset as I do? I pretty much made a rule, I will not purchase any morphs male or female if I can produce it myself. This is what I mean, I want a super pastel bad but will wait to produce my own pastel female so I can produce my super. Same thing with my Yellowbelly, I just feel the money can go to making my collection more diverse(More mutations). Tell me what you think , I just hope I have the patience to follow my plan.

    Re: Morphs

Nope. I just got two female pastels even though I already have a pair of pastels. The reason is that I want to produce a lot of different morphs that require pastels such as pastel clowns, pewters, pastel pieds, and super pastels. Those all require breeding females, and I don't want to wait years to produce and then raise up my own females.

    Re: Morphs

So you are saying that you won't buy any more balls of the same morphs that you already own? So, judging by your sig, you won'y purchase another spider, albino, pastel, pied, or yb?

Makes sense if you don't care about making any double co-doms or double recessives any time soon...

    Re: Morphs

right now i'm pretty broke...so i'm buying up the more common ones, such as pastels and hets...when i get on my career path and have a little more job security i'll probably be spending more on visible morphs to speed up the process to produce what I rrrreally want.

I have three female pastels I'm working on for the same reason. I want alot of combos with pastel so having females for breeders gives you alot of possibilities. Almost everything looks better with pastel in it!

I agree with the fact that pastels are a good base morph, and the more you have gives you way more options.

    Re: Morphs

    I sort of agree...
I won't buy a super pastel. I'm hoping to make one.
I won't buy a bumblebee, since I'm hoping ot make one, won't buy a female spider, since I will be making some. I have het ghosts, won't buy a ghost.
I'd rather buy something else to add in that I can't produce.

    Re: Morphs

I am with emilo on these one, hey I think you all here for the love of breeding and for the pasion we have for BP's, so you can wait and produce your females with patient and care and just enjoy the trip. But if you want to make money, fast and only care of about is getting you money back fast untill the codoms drop in price, then I will buy 2 of every thing.
    Just my 2 cents
