what do you do for a living?

I'm sorry if this has been asked before but I can't recall seeing it since I've been around

I used to work for Agilent Technologies (they make million dollar lab equipment) but I quit my job right before X-mas.

I'm currently job hunting and it really sucks .

What did you do for Agilent? When I worked in a lab, we use to buy microarry stuff from them all the time.

I work at the distribution center for Webster Veterinary Supply... it pays the bills but it's not exactly stimulating!

I'm not really a factory type person
    I'm usually the corporate slave

I did sales, customer service and database updates for Agilent.

Re: what do you do for a living?

Very brave to quit before having another job lined up! I was out of work for a year after 9-11. I worked for Nortel Networks at the time and they downsized their staff from 90K worldwide to a lean 40K. That was not a fun time in my life.

Now I'm a buyer for Radiant Systems, Inc. We make front and back office POS solutions for Entertainment, Retail, Hospitality and Convenience Stores. Ever been to an AMC theatre and purchased a ticket from the outdoor kiosk? That's our equipment. If you have Sheetz or Wawa in your area, they use our equipment. We are also in Europe and Asia Pacific.
