Online Photo Albums
I currently have a photobucket account, and i love it, but it takes sooo long to upload photos. When i take pictures i take about 200, and then i narrow it down to around 30, and it really blows trying to upload 30 pictures to photobucket. Does anybody know a place that i can upload phots in bulk easily?

PBucket has always served me well.. now, what I dislike about them, is the fact that others without an account cannot view your albums.. but no, in the speed department, I never have troubles. Now.. at my mom's I had a slow time uploading things into PBucket.. I think it has to do with your connection speed. Home, where it goes fast, we have satellite; Mom has a cable modem.. what do you have?

Re: Online Photo Albums
I have DSL. My enternet is super fast,or atleast to me...photobucket has always taken a long time for me. i used to have another account on a diffrent site, and it was great for me, but they changed the format, and i dont like it now. Speed isnt so much the issue, its, i can only do 20 at a time, and i have to go back and ad more, and, i would just prefer to upload them all at one time.

Re: Online Photo Albums
photobucket works great for me also
I used to have trouble before I started changing the size of my pictures when I uploaded them
Now I always pick the website option for size and they upload very quickly

Re: Online Photo Albums
Consider these things...if you don't have another photo site you have used in the past to compare to it could be YOUR internet connection. Even broadband can still be slow with the right variables. Also look at things like picture size. Many people think they need to have their digital cameras set to the highest resolution and then expect to share their images on the internet. The result is pics that are generally way to big in size display wise as well as file size wise. If you have 30 images over a Mb in size of course its going to take some time. On top of that if your photo service automatically resizes images for you...add on more time yet as it takes more resources to resize images as you upload them. Other things like bandwidth caps, users per node in your area, and time of day can affect bandwidth availability.
Broadband services can "guarantee" X amount of bandwidth all day long but in reality it will always be variable.
