    Throwing Up

So i was in petsmart yesterday, and i was talking to one of the Employees, and i said i have some ball pythons. Well, 2 minutes into our convo she had to answer a call on the store phone, somebody called in asking if the vets at petsmart will look at snakes. Her BP has been throwing up for a week. The employee handed the phone to me, and i told her it could be an internal parasite, but i don't know, and she needs to take it to a reptile vet immediatley.

Does anybody know what it could've been?

    Throwing up for a WEEK?

Did she say like rat bits where coming back up? or was it just like a liquid? Did it smell, the color of it? Anything?

Regurge has it's own smell and I don't wish ANYONE to ever have to smell that because it's just that fowl of an odor!

My one female ball python has "thrown up" on me a few times. It's just slimy liquid from her RI.

This is odd. I've only known of regurgitation, but actual vomit? No idea what it may be, but it can't be good.

Could be regurge and could be excess mucous from an RI... I hope they take it to the vet.

Amy, I dont think it possible that a snake could throw up for a week, it can regurgitate a meal.

Not putting you down here, the topics of the threads you start are things that some of us would only think about. very eye opening, you may be missing your call as an investigative reporter. keep up the good work and Rock on with your bad self.
