don't worry about it, many people get this stuff mixed up. A thoroughbred is a breed of horse. They are the horses that you usually see racing on TV. If a horse is 100% of one breed, it is called a purebred. Usually when people say that their horse is a clydesdale or a dutch warmblood, or any breed they mean it it is purely that breed. they will say QH X Percheron, or whatever the cross is, if it is a cross (unless they try to pass the horse as something its not. lol)
