    does this sound about right

I finally got a scale to weigh my 2 bp's. Morrighan weighed in at 295g and Maleagant weighed in at 215g. now I got both of them at a pet store so i'm not exactly sure of how old they are, but I assume they are anywhere around 6-7 months when i bought them does. this sound like normal weight for snakes of this age? They are very healthy and eat very well but i'm just a little curious.

That sounds about right. At those weights they should be between 3-9 months old, but of course that would depend on how much they've been fed and other factors.

I agree as well, Lawrence made a good point though... IT depends on how the animal was fed/and or ate. As long as they are healthy and continue to eat well for you I wouldn't be concerned. I also would feed your snakes once a week instead of every other... Good luck to you!

Actually I do feed weekly and they never turn down a meal so I hope I have 2 very happy snakes. Thanks alot for the help I was just wondering what was the norm for their age. I got the scale at staples for $33 it is run by 9v battery and has a 5 lb limit it also weighs in g's or oz's

Sounds like it's safe to say that they were hatched in 2006.
