Ok, here is a math problem for you. I contact a breeder about a 100% het ghost female. We go back and forth and it and can't work out a deal. No biggie, it happens. In conversation I mention that I have a 100% het albino male. He says that he has 3 99% het albino females. Now, what is a 99% het, you may ask? Apparently, he attempted to breed a het male with a normal female. After a few months nothing happened, so he bred her with a visual albino male, they hit it off, and she produces a viable clutch. Because of the chance that this clutch is from stored sperm, he won't offer them as 100% het. I am buying them at a very good price, so even if they turn out to be normal, I am still ahead of the game. If I get even one albino then I believe that would prove them all, and I've hit paydirt. My fingers and toes are crossed.
