Well for one I'm too short to get him completely on the screen from overhead. For two, the picture had nothing to do with the accuracy of the measurement. We took yarn, and holding him, had it go from the tip of his nose and follow his spine down to the tip of the tail, then measured it with a measuring tape. So yes. The picture had nothing to do with that part.



And yup. He's a little chubby guy. Well. Maybe not little. haha.
I'm sure he just assumed that you were aware of the snake measurer sofware that you can download here, where you can get an accurate meausurement of Puppy using the ruler as the size reference and then let the software figure out his length.

However, for it to be truly accurate, the angle should be straight down on snake and object of known length (like a pack of cigarettes for example).
