I am not an expert, though I have closely studied in college the effects of 2nd hand smoke, but I would imagine, that since 2nd hand smoke leads to more respiratory infections in exposed human children, it would be logical to assume that a snake breathing in 2nd hand smoke, would make it more susceptible to respiratory ailments. I guess it would depend on husbandry issues as well, and the immune system of that particular snake. Again, I am not an expert, just making an assumption. Don't mean to offend any forum members who smoke.
