Really good post. No one should ever be ashamed to need a second person around when handling their large snakes.. at least, a second person could help by spraying the snake with something, or manually peeling it off or at the very worst, killing it if they could not get it off.. it is a sad thing that this had to happen at all. On one hand, the Are wild animals that are unpredictable.. but on the other, the vast majority of herp keepers enjoy long, safe lifetimes of herping without serious injury.
