Temprament is a bit better than before the incident, but he is now permanently hungry. Always waiting for the next meal.

You could be right as the Albino did not make it. So maybe the rats where infected in some way, but still think the acid created the opening for the bacteria.

The meal was not too big for the snake, he puts this away regularly, although not such fat rats as on this occasion. The rats where already +_ 50% digested after the three days. He has gobbled down meduim sized rabbits and a few ducks in his time.

Temps were fine . They spend most of their time in the middle of the enclosure and park off under the light after a meal.

Would also appreciate your more detailed comments, when you have the time. Not sure you where agreeing with the previous post or that something similar has happended to you?
