Any one else in the North West...

    That still has power?

The wind here is still out of control and the power is kind of sporatic. Luckily the Ranger station is right down the street so we don't lose power for too long when we do.

I was up all night waiting for the power to go out completely. I was really worried last night. We have a fire place though so it won't get too cold in the house if we do lose power.

Anyone else experiencing the worst storm we have had in 40 years?

Tons of Fun, There are trees down everywhere. Its kind of scary.

Thanks, you can't even really go outside. Last night it literally was like a small hurricane outside. Needless to say I won't be going anywhere today, unless I absolutely have to.

Up here in Everett it was fuuuuuuun last night... Yeah. Up here on the fourth floor with the wind trying to tear the roof off. Taking Ryan to work at 5:30 this morning it was still raining like crazy, parts of 99 are flooded.
I have to go up to Lynden later on, I really hope I-5 isn't backed up. Really really.

Its beautiful in that area, I went boating in the San Juan Islands last year with my Family. Of course we almost died in a boating accident but that was in Victoria Canada. I loved Anacortes and the San Juan Islands though. Gorgeous.

I also checked road reports, I didn't see any advisories for I-5 at all. Good luck and be safe.

Thank goodness. I still need to get in the habit of checking road advisories. I never had to back in Indiana, heck, I have no idea how... The weather is fairly simple 'Rain, lots of Rain, Drizzle, THE SKY IS FALLING RAIN, and hazy rain.'

I only lost power for an hour and a half. A couple people I know didn't lose any power at all. It sucks, because the power went off ONE MINUTE before The Office came on. Those were some crazy winds... two of our huge evergreen/cypress trees fell down. They didn't hit anything, so that's good.
