    pics; female coiled on side

In terms of breeding, does this signify anything? She was locked up with my male last week; she has since gone into blue. It seems that I can remember her doing this last year after being bred; I had actually thought she was the male and was behaving oddly, so it sticks out in my mind. Should I give her a round water bowl (hers is square) to coil around?

Did she just eat? Some of mine will lay like that after a meal.

You said she just bred? Maybe she's practicing for egg-coiling In the BP book I've read, the females coiled around their eggs look like that.

It seems a bit early for them to be doing gravid basking behavior, but i am no expert, so i would wait to hear from others. and your sure it was a week ago they locked up??

It was a bt longer I guess; with working so much, things tend to meld together; days, weeks, lol.
