Tubs in the UK
Mnty has outgrown his current set-up (1.3kg) and I think it is probably time to move him to a tub.
Has anyone in the UK got a suggestion as to where to buy a suitably sized tub?

Re: Tubs in the UK
do they have walmarts in the uk? lol probably a dumb question, but i dont know!
If there are, they sell sterilite 41 quart tubs that work perfectly! I don't know how big your bp is, but this does well for mine, and he's close to 30 inches, and has plenty of room to grow.
Hope this helps!

no wal-marts. they havn't dominated the world...yet...like McD's...
There's been some similar posts to yours...i'll see if i can find some. i know there's been a lot of struggles for people in the UK to find good tubs at a decent price.

Wow, that is definitely surprising to me! i thought walmarts were everywhere! lol!
Anyway, any decent super-store chain would do, maybe a k-mart, target...or maybe a hardware store like lowes or home depot...all of which are probably not over there! :/
But yeah...id say any hardware store or super-chain kinda store thing should have them.. good luck!

Don't mean to derail this thread from its original purpose which i wish i could help with, but i know they have Targets in Australia (all over the major cities)

I know for sure they have them at John Lewis for £10 (for a set of 2) thats the 32L model, which is what I would use...... and I would venture a guess they have them at Woolworths too, John Lewis even has online ordering if you dont feel like going outside

Re: Tubs in the UK
Hi,
I spent ages trying to find tubs in the uk for a rack and the best I could find is the following;
ikea sell 34" long tubs about the right size for about £7 I think. I did find the uk importer for sterilite tubs but can't seem to get the buggers to actually give me the info to order some.
This is a link to a previous thread wiht the adress etc in it and pics of the tub the man managed to build - it turned out cool.

Cool - thanks for all the advice.
FWIW we have no Wallmart per se in the UK but they do now own one of our larger supermarket chains (Asda).
