General Questions about my BP/his housing
Ok I have some general question regarding my new BP and his enclosure. He ate a small fuzzy for the breeder the day before I bought him(4 days ago). He hasn't pooped or anything yet(although I guess he could have before I picked him up.) How long after eating do they normally poop?
Also, I have a question about the enclosure the breeder gave me with my snake. I have a 30 gallon tank with a built in heat plate, a ceramic water bowl, a half log hide, and a bed of Aspen. My snake seems pretty content, but I want to do as much as possible to make him comfortable.
Please give me any suggestions, and thanks!

Re: General Questions about my BP/his housing
You should have 2 hides for your bp. One on the cool side and one on the warm side. Depending on the size of your bp determines the size of the hide. Do you have a temperature gage in the enclosure. I use and accurite that I bought from Lowes for 12 dollars. It gives you the temp of where you put the probe, the ambient air temp, and the humidity. If you go to the care sheets section you will find all of the info you need for the care of your bp. Congrats on your bp, and welcome!

Thanks, and I just found another hide from some geckos I had years ago. I'll have to look into buying temp. equipment.

Re: General Questions about my BP/his housing
I just found a branch thing I had, washed it off, and put it in his container. He seems to like it, he's climbing on it now. It's ok for him to have it, right? There's still plenty of room for his hide and water.
