which side would you put the water ate the cool side or the worm side and how do you sex a bp

I put mine in the middle, between the hides..but not on the hot side. the hot side will raise the humidity...it's a good way to raise it if you're having humidity issues
To sex a ball python, you need to have a professional pop or probe it.

I currently have my water dishes in the middle of the enclosures, but i think Jayvyn is going to go into shed soon, so i'll move it to the warm side.
you can pop or probe a BP, popping is easier with younger snakes, but it is not something you should do by yourself, find somebody near you that can help you out.

My dishes are all on the cool side. Popping or probing should be done by an experienced herp vet, breeder or keeper that knows what they are doing.

I keep mine on the cool side as well. I like them on the cool side so I can check for spills at a glance when using a rack system.
