A day in the life...

Of a college student! Lol... So I'm sitting here about to start on a history exam---yes, at 12:31 AM in the morning, and I thought you all would like either a glimpse or a reminder of what it's like to be a college student.

Monday: Class from 8:30 AM-1:30 PM
Work from 2:00 PM-5:00 PM
More Class from 5:30 PM-7:30 PM
(Actually one of my slower days, though I try to get some homework done afterwards)

Tuesday: Class at 12:30 PM-3:00 PM
Work from 4:00 PM-12:00 AM

Wednesday: Class from 8:30 AM-2:30 PM
Work from 3:00 PM-5:00 PM
Class again from 5:30 PM-7:30 PM
Work again til 9:00 PM

Thursday: Same as Tuesday

Friday: Work at first job from 8:00 AM-12:00 PM
Work at second job from 4:00-12:00 AM

Saturday: Work 4:00 PM-12:00 AM

Sundays: sometimes have off, usually work 4:00 PM-12:00 AM

And you all are wondering why I'm up at 12:30 AM starting an exam? Ugh... exams are this week which means it's going to be a bear. But, something to be proud of here folks... as of Friday Dec. 7th, I'm officially a COLLEGE GRADUATE!!!! WHOOT! That's right, I'll have a BA in English (focus Creative Writing) and a minor in Aviation. God... it's terrifying and awesome all at the same time.

Congrats Lynn!! Although I have to be honest I had to read twice that your major is English and minor is Aviation. The more I think about it though the next time I'm in the air I definately want everyone involved to communicate as clearly as possible!

Hey, grats on graduating I'm an English major also (Lit focus)--and have finals/tons of papers due starting next week. Fortunately, the only working I have to do is workstudy--and that's over for the semester. *hug* People like you amaze me.

Hey thanks all!


It has been a rough year... and things are still hard. But this is definately a light at the end of the tunnel!

I've made the decision to stay in Ohio. I want to get my residency here, and have to have a permanent address for at least two years. After that, I'm going to apply to graduate school here at OSU. I want to get my MFA (Master of FIne Arts) and then my PhD. I want to teach. So, yeah, that's the long term plan. Now I just need to get a semi-decent job to support it! I'm meeting with one of the store managers of CVS next week to hopefully begin my training in managment... trying to shoot for an assistant store manager position. Wish me luck!
