    poop happens...

and 90% of the time as we all know it happens to me.

I wanted to say sorry to every one who was interested in buying one of my BPs. I couldn't find a shipper to ship them and then I ended up really sick and in the hospital for quite a while.

I just found out that GA has a law that prohibits the shipping of any live reptile out of the state. At least that was what I was told by UPS and DHL. Fex Ex is in SC about 45 min away and I was still to sick to travel that far.

I'm really beginning to hate this state...

So if your still interested in any of my snakes and you live near me then I will be able to sell.

I just wanted to clear things up with you all and I didn't want any of you thinking I was trying to scam or wrong you in any way.

Poop happens to the best of us.

I didn't know where to put this thread so if it is in the wrong place please move it. Thanks.

    Re: poop happens...

I have looked over both sites... for DHL and UPS and both sites state nothing about Live reptile shipping laws per state. so I think your right Joe. Monday if I'm feeling up to it Im going to march my happy butt back to DHL or UPS with there "guidelines and regs" in hand and I will tell themto shuv there "GA state Law" up there pooter.

I have been going over this states laws while I was in the hospital and so far I still have yet to see anything about shipping reptiles. All that I did find was that Crocs, gaters and any imported rear fanged snakes are not at all alowed as pets.... along with some off the wall laws about dolphins and other marine mamals in swimming pools.

Jessie,if i was you i would not waste my time with DHL(AKA MORONS) or UPS(AKA IDIOTS THAT LOSE PACKAGES) get in contact with Fedex and ask for the legal dept(aka James Browns area).Tell them you want papers to be certified to ship reptiles thru them.If the person whom first answers the phone when you call tells you they do not ship snakes or gives you a problem let me know.I have a direct phone number for a executive sales rep that i am sure will help you.Since this certification never expires you will be approved forever.Once you get the papers and have any questions please contact me,if needed i will give you my direct email addy and phone number. When i was certified i did more then they asked and they commended me on it.

It does not cost a cent to get certified thru fedex. They even picked up the cost to ship my test box to them.

I am glad to read that you're doing OK; I was wondering where you went too..
I too need to get certified to ship, and I am not looking forward to it.
