    Warranties - sheesh!!

Oh well, a really short work week this week! I got a notice that the warranty on my truck had expired 3 days ago. Then yesterday we were snowed in and work was cancelled. Today I head for work and this strange light I have never seen before on my dash suddenly starts lighting up. One more block and it sounds like the front end is vibrating out from under my truck. I haven't got a clue??

I know what you mean, I had a nissan and a week after the warrenty was up it broke down. It's like once the cars hit a certain milage its got a self destruct button. Another way the car companies screw you.

I remember when I got my Nissan. I've had so much go wrong including there's a sensor in the gas that wears out and only Nisaan makes it and it's known to go bad and there isn't any other company who makes it. So every 10,000-15,000 miles I'll have to spend 500.00 to get it changed. Nissan pays me back but still when your cars stalls out in the middle of traffic it sucks.

This was to be my first debt free christmas in my adult life. I'm not hurting for money but it is a real downer to think you finally can relax then BAMM! Whatever it is it's not going to be cheap. The price of mechanics seems to be in line with doctors at times. Probably not, but I only pay a co-pay for the doctor.

If this is the worst that happens we're in good shape.

That's what kept happening to me all those damn sensors that only they make. I had to change those sensors twice. $450 each + labor = $600. I like nissans but come on theres got to be a better and cheaper way to deal with this problem.

Same happened with my cousin. Thankfully I'va had the money in the bank but to drop that much is a pain and God forbid anything else comes up.
