    New snakes-personalities....

So, when i talked to adam about the het pied that i had chosen, he said he was the shy one out of the bunch, but, he has not been in his hide even once. The pied on the other hand, explored for a little, and has not come out of her hide! lol.

Does anybody else notice a personality diffrence from when you first got them to now? What about you handling your snake vs. other people handling them?

    Re: New snakes-personalities....

i have one that loves to wander around, and another female, that will just stay in her hide all day until it's feeding time

i don't see a difference when different people hold the snakes, they act the way they usually do

Well, with my RTB, he only likes 2 people, with the other people he is really quick to recoil, and is very quick to escape, but with me and my best friend, he is fine.most people dont like him, because he doesnt like them. lol.
But, Jayvyn, everybody loves him, hes such a chill snake.

I would say some of our snakes have very distinct "personalities" for wont of a better word. Some show a more relaxed attitude around certain people and one of our 06's positively hated me for awhile LOL (she was all charm and grace with Mike and if I approached would turn into Miss Hell Has No Fury type thing).

Well you would too, if some crazy lady snatched YOU out of a tank so that other people wouldn't get you and proceeded to mess with you bum to figure out if you were a girl or a boy! If I were her, I'd dare say I wouldn't forget that either!

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA! It's too scarey how you and I know so much about each other's snakes! Yep it was little Muirne and she sure didn't care for me for the longest time. Now she's as friendly as the other 06's but for awhile it was all about Mike and I was the Debil Butt Squeezing Demon Lady as far as that little snake was concerned!

All of my snakes have different personalities...

It's just a matter of getting to know their quirks.. be it feeding, moving around, etc....

I have seen some that will bite you from baby to adult and the there are the shy babys that will be shy and the get you when their older. So they tend to be their own people and it really varys from snake to snake. LOL
