    age/weight

can anyone tell me approximate age weight ratios if they're healthy & eating?

I understand there's no set standard to determine this (every snakes is different, like people are), I was just curious if weight could give an idea of an age range that one might be in

if a ball is say 150 grams it might be in what age range?

    Re: age/weight

Just to give you an idea we have four 06' BP's (3 females, 1 male). They range from 1 hatched in May 06, 2 in June 06 and 1 in Aug 06. They go from 195 to 225 grams empty right now. All are really good eaters (1 on mice, 2 on rats, 1 will take either).

    Re: age/weight

There can be a wide vairablilty in weight, depending on the weight at hatching and food intake. If possible ask the source, but otherwise you could guess late 06. There's no real chart to follow.

I have 2 05 females from the same litter. One is 1000g even and the other is 614 both empty. Too many variables to say if it is growing at a normal pace or not.
    lots of snakes

    Re: age/weight

this might be wrong .... but I think I'll approximate them to be in the possible 4-5 month (maybe older, maybe younger) age range maybe .... not exact because I don't know that, just a guesstimate

My ball is about 140g, and he was hatched 6-6-06. He is a very good eater too, as in he never missed a week, ever.

Dare I ask what you're feeding him, if after 25 meals (by my count, if he really has eaten every week like you said) he only weighs 140g? crickets maybe? LOL

    Re: age/weight

That does seem small for that many weekly meals.
