Just for my own clarity - it refers to a wild "caught" rather than a captive hatched? I never really thought about it - I knew it meant Long Term Captive.

I've always thought it referred to an adult or almost adult BP taken from the wild for the pet trade Robin or for breeding purposes rather than a captive hatched baby (I may well be wrong on this though of course). So I'd consider Saoirse to be a well established LTC since she's been in captivity now for at least 2 years and is settled much as our CB's or CH's are.
I just never know what time period "long" is LOL. I've seen ads for LTC snakes that seem to have been unpacked last week and sorry but I sure don't call that "long term" or "well established".
Watch out when buying 'LTC'......it is always up to the seller what the definition of 'Long' is....Your safe bet is to buy a baby and raise it up instead of dealing with that stuff.
I have seen ads labeled "LTC Adult Female Ball Python".......then you read the ad or find out more info and the seller only had the snake for 6 months. Just another one of those things like "Adult Female Ball Pythons".....then you find out the snake is only 900 grams....no where near adult, and that definately puts the seller on my 'Look out for' list....
IMO....LTC for ball pythons would be 2+ years in captivity after being taken from the wild.

The buyer I am looking at claims 2 years for this LTC. I have got lots of questions for him still though.
