Observations: Tubbed racks are too far apart, you can compress them down closer together and fit more inAlso if you stack everything to the ceiling more room
I also made the mistake of starting indoors, YUCK!
I know what you are saying about building the racks and not leaving room for the water valves, BUT, I found a way around this with no real work...
Just attach the valves in one front corner of the tub... when you slide the tub out 90% of the way, you just rotate it and the opposite corner comes free, and then you can drop it off without it being an issue.. I've done this for all of my current setups and it works fine... you really don't want to space it out anymore than flush anyway because the rats will be able to get their noses around and bite bite the tubs
