Feet First!!

Not sure if this is the right place for this, but my newest BP is tring to eat its first meal with me. He ate it feet first!! :eek: Is this ok? I've never seen this happen b4. Please tell me its ok... or something?

As long as the snake didn't have a problem it's just fine. They sometimes get it backwards (or even try for a sideways snack LOL) but mostly they figure out it's easiest to swallow them headfirst.

Sometimes they eat feet first when the prey item is a little on the small side as well.

My boy was a year old before he figured he could set it down and regrip from the other end!! So cute when he works it around in his mouth to the other end. He still eats smaller prey items backwards.

my RTB always eats his meals sideways. Everything is always fine
don't think there is anything to worry about.
