    Question flexwatt ques?

I set up my new Boaphile rack, taped the probe in the corner on the flexwatt..set the thermostat to 90 (using a Ranco)..the actual temp on the warm side in the tub is registering around 82 w/ a temp probe..so do I keep turning up the thermostat until the tub warm side reaches 90???

    thanks

You can turn up the thermostat or move the probe. The reality is you probably will do both and dial it in untill it's accurate. It might take a little time and adjustments but you will find the right location and setting. I usually monitor a new rack set up for a few days and make my adjustments before I ever put a snake in it.

I would try shooting for the temp to be around 92-94! IMO

Give it some time...at least a day or so before the rack stabilizes. Remember, your substrate has got to warm up as well.
