film in corner of mouth while eating?

Today while feeding i noticed a small film like the film when blwong bubbles. IS this normal to produce saliva while eating like this or could this be a symtom of RI? My temps and humidity are perfect and i have not noticed any crust or mucous in the nose or corners. and i have not heard any wheezing. Any advice would be amazing. Thank you so much. Im going crazy worrying

Mike,do me a favor take your snake and gently use something to open his/her mouth.Depending on the size of your snake you might get someone to hold it still. Now once you have its mouth open look in the throat area.Do you see a slober or gunk like substance or is it clear? If you see the slobber or gunk like substance your snake has URI.If its clear your snake is ok.Sometimes when they open there mouth you can see a little saliva.Just incase check him/her the same way as i suggested above say maybe Friday to make sure nothing is wrong.I hope this helps you.I just noticed you just fed him today wait till Friday to do this ok.No need to cause him to possibly regurge.

A small cheap plastic spatula like this works great. I have one just dedicated to my ball python.
