Poop
Disclaimer: I know this isn't a substitute for a vet's opinion, I'm looking for a reputable vet around here that knows about balls (the nearest vet's 35 miles away and she only does dogs/cats). As soon as I find one (which I hope will be by tomorrow) I'm going to make an appt.
I just noticed that my ball's poop isn't normal. It's usually white, but his recent poop was brownish in color with some white specks. The texture's the same as a normal poop. His shed's been fine, he's been acting fine, the temperatures/humidity are the same and haven't changed. He had two small mice last week (he usually eats an adult mice but I couldn't find any so I substitued that for two small mice) and that's the last thing he ate before the poop.
Any idea what this is?

Re: Poop
well urates are usually white, and feces are brown, so maybe before those were urates, and now your snake actually pooped

Re: Poop
Sounds like perfectly normal poop to me. What you've seen up to now was urates...which is a solid form of urine. (They can pass liquid urine as well) They can go for several weeks between poops, so I'm guessing you haven't had him for a really long time?

I've actually had him for 2 months, give or take a week, but I was always so busy with going to school full time and working full time, so my roommate was the one who was in charge of him for that period of time but now i'm back at my parent's due to a knee injury and i've been noticing more and more things
