    Hows this look?

I got Abbath's new tub set up for tomorrow. I need to put the air holes and it'll be finished. However I want to know if this is a satifactory set-up?

    Hide #1

Hide #2 There's a digital thermometer there. Sorry for the crap webcam photos.

The dimensions on this tub are 20"Wx39"Dx6.5"H

Lemme know what you guys think and any suggestions welcome. Btw yes, he will have a UTH as well

looks good. How big is the snake? The only thing I can think of is your hides look huge. They want something that they can be snug in.

Yup...looks like a really nice setup. The hides do look big...but it all depends on the size of the snake...and sometimes things just look bigger in pictures with nothing else to compare them to.

Is the substrate aspen? I'd just recommend making sure it's not too deep...so the UTH doesn't have to get too hot in order to keep the surface temps proper.

Can't wait to see pics of Abbath all settled into his new home!!

The snake is about 1300 grams and 3.5 feet long. I haven't seen him in person yet but since kittie litter boxes are cheap, if I need to go bigger, then no biggie on my wallet. Yes, it is aspen and actually the bag barely covers the floor of the tub. So the UTH should be able to properly heat the tank. But as we all know lil tweaks here an there are always in order for a new snake and tub.
