    Sfe

So the almost got tag post made me want to post my first and only SFE (stupid feeding error). The guys at my local Herp shop know me well enough that when I walk in they let me go pick out my rat or just throw me the keys to the cages and tell me to go check out the new Nicaraguan dwarf Boa's very cute buy the way. So I go in and they were swamped with saltwater fish people ( they are the only reef and saltwater dealers in our area) so BJ that one of the guys there was like just go get what you need. So I go back and get a couple of rat of the right size throw a little bedding in with them ( they all ways poop all over the place in thier boxes and the bedding helps keep it from getting all over them. any who. I put the rats on the counter and BJ tells me that they just got in a breeding size female would I like to look at her. AAAA let me think YEA! so he tosses me the keys and says oh I haven't messed with her yet so I don't know what she like on the end with the teeth.. Great. Blood doner. So I go back BIG female maybe 2500 - 3000 grams nice shape no clue on age but for 129.00 why not try. Open the cage I reach in not a hiss or anything. Picked her up and us closing the cage when i feel a tug on my sleeve. Look down and I have a 2500 gram BP now for a cuff link. No biggie just scared . Well Bj then walk around the corner tell a mom how "No Ball Pythons are very gentle and a great first snake for a kid to have" right as he get this out of his mouth and turns the corner. WHACK right on the side of the hand (inbetween the pinky finger and the wrist. The mom said what kind is that I said a Ball Python. She when white and the kid was like COOL . so then it hit me she wasn't scared she was trying to eat me. LOL I forgot about the rats. So me and BJ went on to tell her that no I smelled like rats and she thought I was food. I don't know that that helped much.. LOL Just my story for the week.

Omg sorry sweetie but I'm laffing my butt off! What timing! Oh well we've all done that, forgot we have rodent smell on us and go to grab up a snake. At least it sounds like she might have a nice feeding response LOL.

Oh yea it was freaking helarious. The best part was the kid. Mom went ghost white and the a little boy was like "that so cool. How bad does it bleed." I was funny cause its like telling your grandma that computers are great and easy to use and safe. so she gets one and it catches on fire. remember the sony laptop batterie thing yea my grandma had one do that. Try tell the mom of that kid "No their very calm and sweet natured" WHACK.. LOL.

When the circus can to town they did this song and dance thing with a big albino burm as the guy is walking around in front of the crowd this 8 - 10' around his neck itdecides it realy doesn't like the way that lady is looking at it. So It has a go at her. LOL I mean its mouth was open 180 degrees and when it hit the end of its rope so to speak the guy almost fell form the jerk of that head stopping. The lady jumped up ran over three clowns and a two year old before hitting the door. I thought I was going to pee my pants I was laughing so hard.
