    Question Fingers Crossed

well this is my first time of ever trying to breed snakes.
these two i have raised from babies and now they are up to breeding weight.
i havent done any cooling other then what nature has done with the cold one day and hot the next that we have seem to have had here and they havent went off feed?
any ways i desided last night while cleaning cages to put my male in with my female to see what might happen...

well this is what i came home to today

best close up i could get (sorry its a little grainy)

i cant tell for sure if they are truely locked or not and i didnt not want to disturb them to much, just incase they are....

so what do you guys think?
other then time for the long wait to start

So is the male the bigger one or the smaller one? Im hoping smaller.
You will be able to tell if its a lock or not in a few weeks.

    Re: Fingers Crossed

the male is the smaller of the two.

ok what should i be looking for in a few weeks?
and should i keep putting them together every so often till the end of breeding season ?

also ... i did check in on them later on in the evening and tried to moved her a bit to see if i could get a better look (i'm just so excited about this, i wanted to make sure) ... and if looks could have killed i'm sure i would be dead now LOL
she got a little hissy with me just touching her so i left them alone. Better safe then sorry.

any ways i got home from work tonight (late) and he is moving out and about in the cage she is in her hide.
so i figure before i turn in for the night i will put him back into his own cage to give them a rest

    Re: Fingers Crossed

well i placed my male in with my female again and got another lock

seems to be one with the staying power that pic was taken 12 hours after i noticed the lock

this is getting exciting thinking that if the great gods of the snakes are with me that i too may just have little ones crawling around here.

    PS:
BEST OF LUCK TO EVERY ONE
