new girl

Here is my first ever ball! I got her on Sunday. These are just a couple of pictures I took before letting her settle in. She spent about 20 minutes exploring her home, then curled up in the corner. I took out the little planter bottom that i thought could be a hide, she is a little too big. I had two plastic pet water bowls that i had fixed up for hides, but she would get under them and curl up, so the bowl part was sitting on top of her. Finally, i think i have something she likes- a checkbook top and bottom with a little opening cut into them. She has been in these hides all day- that I can tell.
So anyway- she was 114 grams when I weighed her. No name yet, and I can't wait to get her out and hold her a little. It is going to be a long week!!

congrats, glad you found a hide that works, my ball is just about the same size and i thought he wouldnt fit in the planter base but sure enough he did with excess room it still surprises me! lol
