Help with USPS issues!!! Need to figure this out

I had my mom mail out my Money order through USPS Priority with Deliver Confirmation. They didn't give her the card that has the tracking Number on it. I call Hy-vee where it was shipped from and they say call USPS and they can tell you the number. I do it and after about 10 minutes on hold some guy says they can't help me out and its just my loss now. Whats up with that. I call back Hy-vee and ask then to recheck for me. "We have no papers that are left behind. Theres nothing I can do"
Is there ANYTHING at all I can do or just hope that the money arrives safely?

Well I would guess if it has delivery confirmation that you could pretty much bet it will get there...good luck...let us know how it turns out.

Thanks. I'm sure it will be fine. Steve Gooch Called me back and talked out shipping just a few minutes back. He's gonna call nefore he ships becuase I'll be home Wed on next week so I may just have her shipped then.

good luck, i am going threw the same thing. i lost the tracking number to mine. i sent out a package with a money order in it 2 day priority on Oct 23. The person i sent it to still doesnt have it. does your mom still have the reciept for the money order? if so she is going to have to get a form from the post office so she can file a claim for a lost money order. They told me you have to wait 60 days after the money order was originially purchased before they will refund the money. Only other option is to wait for it, might take a couple more days to get it since it was veterians day this weekend.

I trust Steve gooch to let me know when they money gets there. The money should be there Tomarrow(Nov. 15). If its not there by Friday I'll file a claim.
