Bad rack luck rant...

So I ordered a rack from Boaphile on September 12, 2006. Five full weeks later, I gave them a call to see what was up. When I told them it had been five weeks since I places my order, the guy I was talking to sounded surprised, then said it would be sent out the following week.

I let that week go by and called back. Again, I got a surprised tone about the status of my rack, and was told it would be sent out by the end of that week, and I would get an e-mail letting me know it was shipped, complete with the tracking number.

That week passed by. I called on Tuesday of the next week, and he said it was packed up and waiting to be picked up the next day for shipping. I asked if I would receive an e-mail when it shipped out, and I got, "...sure...." I asked if that is something they usually do, and he said it just depends on how busy they are, but that he would send me one. Then he decided just to give me the tracking number over the phone then and there.

It was shipped out on Wednesday, November 8th, and was scheduled to arrive on Friday the 10th. I came home from work Friday to discover it hadn't arrived yet. The last tracking update was that it left Hutchins, TX at 12:45am that morning. It was 7:00pm and delivery times stop at 8. I waited until 8:00 and still nothing came.

I called FedEx but only got a computer response that it was en route to my zip code. I later had my boyfriend call to see if it would arrive the next day, Saturday. The girl he talked to said it would. Then I looked up the differences between FedEx Ground and FedEx Home Delivery. Ground does not deliver on Saturdays, so I called to find out which shipping method was used. It was going Ground, so it would not really be here on Saturday, and the office would be closed so I would not be able to pick it up.

So here I am... waiting to see if it will be here tomorrow when I get home from work... This sucks!
