    Back Heat=Higher Ambient

I am considering getting a rack from AP and I have a question. I'm most likely have to put this rack in my main room and not in the closet. My room temp fluctuates a lot during the year going anywhere from 75F to 70F. Im wondering if I got both back and belly heat installed if the back heat would be able to keep the ambients up enough. Or would getting a second set of flexwatt installed on the cool side be better.

Is it possible to heat the room with an oil filled heater or similar?

IMO I would get the second flex installed on the cool side. Set it up so each runs on a seperate t-stat and I think you will be ok.
    Just my 2 cents

    Re: Back Heat=Higher Ambient

    Hi,
I live in the UK where it never really gets very warm all year!! And I have no carpet in my room with my ball so temps drop quite a bit! I agree with the last post, I use two UTH's with 2 proportional thermostats and all temps are fine, even when my room drops to 65!
    Hope this helps.

When I got our T3...about a month ago, it came with a heat cable/coil instead of flexwatt and they only offered belly heat with it.

AP is now offering racks w/ flex. Something new.
