Re: Goodbye tanks & Hello rack!

Of course! Will have them hopefully on Sunday evening!
I plan on going out tomorrow on my lunch break and buying all the tubs since I don't want to walk into a Target on a weekend! I may as well go to Home Depot tomorrow evening and get the boards cut, etc.

Now I need to sell a bunch of tanks!

Unhappy Re: Goodbye tanks & Hello rack!

Well I now have a dilemma!

I went to 2 different Targets, 2 Walmarts, Home Depot and to Lowe's. In the end I only came out with *1* 41qt container . Do they like not make them anymore? Odd to have 4 different places not have thrm and the target I did find the one at, it was not in place with the other ones.....

Needless to say I'm not going to start building into I have all my supplys ready and at hand.

Anyone else have any idea where I may be able to find 6 more 41qt tubs?

Weird. You tried bed bath and beyond or (if you're lucky to have one close by) The Container Store?

I've not tried either of those... does BB&B carry them? I've never heard of the container store.

Do you have a big lots near you. Have you checked out any of the stores listed on the Sterilite website (heres a link to the retail stores) Here the 41qts are pretty popluar, you see a whole stack one day and the next they are all gone. Congrats on building a rack, im looking forward to seeing pics.

Re: Goodbye tanks & Hello rack!

Crap; I hope that you can find them. My local walmart has a ton of them; I wish I could somehow ship you some if you wanted to pay me and I could buy them for you! I have two still-vacant slots in my rack but I bought tubs for them anyway, though no one lives in there; but I bought them just in case they discontinue this model or something..
Seriously, if you're interested in the tub shipping idea, PM me..
I wonder if the Sterilite and Rubbermaid companies are ever going to realize we use their tubs and are a huge market; someone should let them know.. but what to do with all of these leftover lids? I am thinking that my boyfriend could use them to make plastic stencils to use for airbrushing flames on things...

You could also talk to the store that had them, and ask them to order you more. You could also have them call you when more come in.

    Good luck in your search.
