    RIP Sasha

It was a sad day today as I had to have my Brazilian Rainbow Boa, Sasha put to sleep. Some of you know the story. He was a rescue that I spent a lot of time working with over the past 2+ years and he just never did gain weight like he should or eat normally. Turns out he was intentionally starved and dehydrated by his previous owners and ended up with kidney problems. A couple days ago he began wheezing and instead of an RI, it turned out that he had a large tumor in his mouth, that was restricting his breathing. Aside from all the health issues, he was such a great snake and had an awesome temperment. We will miss him!

That's a heavy bummer bro. We're all sure you made every effort possible to get him back to health and share your loss.

Jamie, I am really so sorry to hear that
Sasha was the first Rainbow I ever saw pics of, and I just thought "wow, what a gorgeous snake". I've always made it a point to look at them at the shows since then.

I'm so sorry Jamie. I know you did the best you could for him and gave him the best home he ever had. He was such a handsome BRB. Sending hugs your way!
