    Ivory BP's

Just wondering what everyone's take is on the Ivory ball's or even yellow bellies. I'm starting to get some offers for a laptop I have for sale and one was for a pair of yellow bellies (het ivory). The ivories are very cool no doubt I guess I hadn't paid attention to this morph all that much and don't remember seeing many for sale...I am now that I'm researching them. This could be a great opportunity but I'm not sure if I want to hold out or jump on it while its there.

To recap I'm looking to sell and/or trade a laptop that has a value upwards of 2k so I guess another question I have is if a pair of yellow bellies is comparable to this dollar amount or not? I've seem some prices that where high and low...then again I guess if ivories where produced I would be on the plus side for sure. I've looked at some pics and remember reading things here but I still have a hard time realizing a yellow belly when I'm looking at it. I've been more focused on some other projects and future planning so forgive my newbness.

    Re: Ivory BP's

I like both the yellow belly's and the super(ivory). I'm hoping I'll get a male or a pair next year when I can make a trade. Nerd had an outstanding ivory on display in daytona instantly made me want one.

    Re: Ivory BP's

Not only do yellow bellies make ivories....but they also enhance some other combo morphs really nicely, from what I understand.

IF you consider it an investment and are willing to be patient and grow them up and breed then....then the $$ value far exceeds $2k.

Warren, Keep in mind when purchasing yellow bellies. If you want to produce Ivory Balls buy from a proven line that has produced Ivories. All yellow bellies do not produce Ivory balls!

    Re: Ivory BP's

Thanks for the tips everyone. The history I have been given on the pair is that they came from recent (within the past couple years) imported YB's that have proven and produced an ivory of which this pair would be siblings. I'm not to worried about getting poor quality animals or getting lied to by the breeder. We live about an hour apart and without saying a name some members here also post on "his" forums.

The other offer I've had ball wise is a near ready to breed pastel male and a female spider. Forgive me if that offer came from a member here I'm just trying to make up my mind! I originally said I didn't "need" a pastel male at the moment but darn it if the pics of the spider and the pastel aren't making me rethink that!

    Off to check that link!

Ed I've never heard this before can you go more into detail? I'm going to be getting one in the next year and knowing all the info on them is important for everyone. Are you talking about import's?

    Re: Ivory BP's

Well folks I explained the possibilities of the two trade offers I've gotten to the other half of "Warren Reptiles" and it was clear to her that the YB's where the way to go. I didn't need any convincing but I want my wife's input in the decisions I make SO I think we are heading out this very afternoon to do the trade! I'm so excited!

Warren, good choice, the yb's not only make Ivory balls. but bred into anything you can amplify what you bred into so much, just look at the pastel yellow belly or any morph that has been bred into the yb's.
