This setup will be for a ball python, and from there I hope to be adding a couple arboreal snake setups after a year or so. Maybe add a couple of boas much later if I have indeed lost my mind with this hobby as I did with fish

interesting thing about the boaphile cages...I called to ask if the 422D (48" long with single door) was strong enough to support two 24" arboreal cages on top. Good thing I asked because the answer to that was NO. You can stack as many 48" cages as you want, but not put two shorter tanks on top of a long one.
The answer to the problem was to buy a 'coupe' cage, which has two doors with a center rib. that design adds a lot of strength to the center of the cage so I can mix and match what I put on top of it.

I am very pleased, since the two door design seems to have a few advantages in my mind...less heat loss during access, less open area to manage when you open the cage on a faster type snake...ya know?
