    is my snake a snaper?

my snake is allways in the S pistion and after a few min of holding her she will loosen up i hear this is what she will do befor a bite. now i have had her for about a month now and she has not bit or striked at all. i would think that this pisition is normal because if she not in this pisition she has no defence. if she wher a snaper would i have seen agresive behaveur by now. i holed her every night for about 15-20 min.

I think it is safe to say that if your snake was "snappy" it would've at least tried to strike at you by now. Generally they have a reputation for being shy. They would prefer to hide their head in their coils then to bite someone. Just avoid touching its head and neck they tend to be very head shy. As long as you handle your snake regularly (just don't overdo it) you shouldn't have any problems.Hope this helps!

If this is the same snake that you are asking about who is not eating, the answer would be to not handle her at all until she has 2-3 solid consecutive feedings in her...then worry about if she snaps or not. :-)

You've only had this snake what about a month? You're holding it every day for 15-20 minutes? Hopefully this doesn't include the 2 days after it eats. Is this a very young BP? Is it eating weekly?
