My sister and I have tons. I always post on the horse boards at horsecity every halloween and they really like them. I'll put a few on here.
Until 1997 my family lived in an old farm house (approx 140 years old in 1997). Many strange things happened there throughout my childhood but the most...noticed happened as we were moving out.
My parents had a manufactured home built about 150' away from the old farm house.
We would go back and pack boxes and walk them across.
The house was almost empty, the power had been shut off to it and so on. I was upstairs packing up books when I heard voices downstairs. I assumed it was my dad though it never occured to me that he would have no reason to be talking to himself. I filled my box and started down the stairs ready to ask him a question. When I turned the corner into the living room there was no one... Umm.. Okay.. I walk outside and the car is gone. I'm the only one home, no one could have been downstairs.
The last day we were packing up I was upstairs yet again packing my last box of books (yes, I do have a LOT of books LOL). I was looking out my old bedroom window and around the room when I heard music coming from my sisters room right behind me and from downstairs. Every electronic item we had was now in the new house, the power had been shut off in this one and my sisters room had a long history of being a BAD place to be. I stood up and started toward the stairs, leaving my books for my dad to come get. The voices started down stairs, sounding rather aggitated. I looked down the stairs, up at the doorway to my sisters room, took a deep breath and flew down the stairs and out the door.
My father did eventually get my books and a few weeks after we'd moved into our current house we all started talking.
EVERY one of us had an experience while moving out of the old house. My dad heard his name (Sandro <it's Italian>) being whispered over his shoulder in him and moms old room, my mother heard a laugh in the kitchen, I heard the music and voices, and my sister heard heavy breathing in her room and growling. And believe me, getting my mother or my father to admit ANYTHING slightly weird is like pulling hens teeth. So I'm quite confident that the house had... "tenants".
One last note. The local volunteer fire department asked us if they could use the house for training their firefighters. We said yeah, sure.
Everything went fine until the house started to collapse. The front wall started to fall inward then changed direction and fell out, almost on a firefighter. Now, I'm not experienced with stuff like that but it was interesting to note that the firecheif was puzzled by it too.
