So you don't find there is any advantage of letting the snake pick its own humidity?

I notice that when mine are in shed they do not spend all their time in the "damp box" (does that cause less anxiety tigerlily? ) but still move around the tank.

I realise this will be mostly to do with thermoregulation but they still did it when I tried multiple damp boxes (which I still provide for gravid females in case they are feeling fussy) though not to the same extent.

On the subject of racks do you still need to provide hide boxes inside the tubs or does the whole tub become a hide?
