    Couple Questions

So, a company’s website that sells frozen feeders says if your snake doesn’t eat the thawed feeder after a couple hours you can refreeze it. Is this true? My KSB did not eat this last time and their food is five bucks a package. >_<

Second, I thought I asked this before but maybe not. My BP’s enclosure is really plain. I mean it’s got the hide, newspaper substrate, and the water dish big enough for him to fit in. But that’s it. He doesn’t burrow and he doesn’t climb. He seems bored and after working at my job and my boss is a ****** about not letting us bring anything to do, I feel bad for him not having anything to do. Is there anything I can give him that would help entertain him? I’ve tried sticks but he’s less than thrilled with the sticks.

and here i thought you were going to ask relationship questions... oh well, i'll give you some info on these ones

yes you can refreeze prey items. just remember... the more you refreeze the greater chance of the innards exploding while being thawed and/or eaten.

and second... personally i keep aspen bedding on the bottom of my enclosures simply because i like to give them something other than a flat surface to move around. i also have some plastic plants from the petstore and a piece of driftwood in my enclosures... but as for toys... they don't need them. won't care about them. any and all things like driftwood or plastic plants you add... are simply more things you need to clean on cleaning day... you ball may look bored... but it isn't.

    LOL

Okay. I just hate to waste their food and Phleg sure as hell won't eat it. I did try and offer it to him. He looked at me like I was retarded.

He was on the aspen for a while, but he just pushes the litter in his water dish and got it nasty. Yeah, I just don't want him to be bored. I took off a couple layers of the newpaper to warm it up, he is all over that side of the tank now. X3

he must be having a blast moving his aspen around... finally (your snake thinks) a toy and he takes it away

i have a veiga as well... very pretty fish and not a hybrid/mutt like a flowerhorn.

that said... i don't think mine is a pure veiga... i think it's a cross between two different types of veiga.
